7 Things Included In An All Inclusive Golf Vacation

If you have never been on an all inclusive golf vacation before then you will see this article as an eye opener. If you are one of the many that have had the good fortune to have been before then thank your lucky stars. If you have been on a golf vacation before but not taken the opportunity to go all inclusive then this may persuade you to try it.

1. All food, wine and locally manufactured spirits and beers within certain restricted times. You must check with the resort upon arrival as this differs from country to country and even resort to resort.

2. All leisure facilities such as sauna, jacuzzi, massage, steam room and gymnasium facilities. This should extend to sports facilities such as tennis and squash.

3. Unrestricted use of all the courses that are available on the resort. You will have to adhere to the booking policies especially at busy times of the year. Access to the club houses and the 19th holes.

4. Unrestricted access to evening entertainment such as shows, cabaret and musical venues. Not all resorts have this time of evening entertainment so, as usual, check beforehand.

5. Golf cart (buggy) service and golf club usage – note that this does not extend to golf shoes and clothing as this should be the responsibility of each golfer.

6. If the resort is a beach golf vacation you should have access to the beach that should be within walking distance from the main building. On the more exclusive resorts there may be a private beach area that you should have access to as well.

7. Accommodation should be free of any further supplements payable after the holiday has been booked and paid for. Items such as showers, hairdryers and wash room facilities and maid services plus laundry services should also be in the price.

You should not be in a situation whereby, once you have paid for your golf vacation you should have to part with any additional cash outlay other than trips taken outside the golf resort. These tend to be something that the owners have no control over and are decided upon by yourself without any coercion from resort staff. As always make sure you understand the small print and are fully aware of what is included in the golf vacation package before you sign up to an all inclusive golf vacation.
